I bought myself a sewing machine last Christmas with lots of grand plans to teach myself how to sew wonderful things for the family, house and myself.
Grand plans often fall through...
Everything I wanted to sew required fabric, lots of fabric.
Since that just isn't in our budget right now, my Christmas present gathered dust in the basement.
Until I found this great blog called Hopeful Threads which has a monthly sewing project that helps various organizations. What a great way to practice sewing and do something to help others!
This month's project is sewing cinch sacs for The Water Angels
I found some tutorials on Pintrest, used fabric that I had laying around and made a few bags!
Can't wait to see what the next project will be!
